Leroy Hairston had been using his Toms River business “Leroy’s Tow Service" and his Manchester Township home to store and distribute cocaine, according to Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer.
Toms River Township Police Department Emergency Services Unit executed a court-authorized search warrant on the business in Toms River. As a result, Detectives seized approximately 100 grams of cocaine and $7,000 cash.
Ocean County Regional SWAT executed a court-authorized search warrant on Hairston’s residence in Manchester.
Raekwon Strand, 26, of Lakewood — who was present at the residence at the time of the search — was found to be in possession of approximately 100 wax folds of heroin/fentanyl.
In addition, $4,000 in cash was seized from the residence.
Leroy Hairston was charged with possession and distributing cocaine, Billhimer said. Strand was charged with possession of heroin/fentanyl, he said.
